trace paper prototype

I think it is harder to draw in flash than in real life. this is because it is harder to use a mouse than a pencil. We should get those drawer pads for the cp. That would be way easier.

paper prototype

The paper prototype helped me visualize the games looks. Hopefully we can make it look as good in flash as it does on the paper. So far it is looking good. We still have a few more things to do but that is all. The game to me looks great. Hopefully it looks as good to me as every one else.

In your video you should add more female actors because I only saw one. Their acting was okay and funny. Next time can they actually die so it would have looked a lot realer. And finally the people were really funny. Other than all that it was really cool and fun looking we should do that.

Present game



  • The Big Idea: My player needs to learn the effects of deforestation and how they change the environment. 
  • Making Decisions:
  •  I learned a lot more about the topic and its effects.
  • Roles & Responsibilities: First I made a tracing and the code which took the most time.
  • Research:  I researched the topic on Google and the national geographic web site.
  • The User Experience:To play the game you move the mouse to move the character around to collect saws. if you hit a plant you lose.
  • Mastering Flash: The main recources were the wiki. I also asked friends.
  • Overcoming Challenges:  My main challenges were the corrections on the code. Also the drawing was hard.
  • Next Steps: What are you going to do with your game next? Who do you plan to show your game to? How will your game have an impact on your community? How could it change your school or neighborhood? Who will it help?

Making the paper prototype was fun and not too hard. I had to think what needed to be what and if it was good or bad. it helps with the game because it gives me an idea of what my game will be like. I think it would be good if I could trace this to my game. Finally I think It will be what my game will be like exactly.

Choose Learning Topic

I like this topic because it gives me the freedom to be creative by letting me decide what hurts the plants and what is good for them. It also lets me choose how to control how to move the character.  I also get to draw the objects and people. Finally I will use movement to teach them how to avoid the plants.

You are helping the forest by collecting all the harmful objects that are bad for the environment. You will run around the forest collecting lighters, matches,  saws and pollution. Once the objects are collected they are disposed of. Once that is over you saved the environment.

    My two designs would be a running and jumping game for mobile. For the console there would be shooting involved. The differences would be one would run in a strait line and you did the jumping. the other would stay in one place and shoot.

there was a time when i had to make a hard decision

There was a time when I had to make hard decision. But I did the right thing. I found 20 dollors on the ground. Then I took it to the teacher to find who it belonged to. We found out who's it was at the end of the day.
I felt good because I did the right thing. She was really happy and we became friends. I am still happy that I gave it to the teacher. I also remember her mother thanking me. Mainly because it was her birthday money.
