Brain video

In the video it stated that the world with no challenges we wouldn't grow. Our brain makes connections when we make mistakes because it corrects our brain. If there were no mental stimulation less neurons would connect. That is not good. If we do have challenges we learn to overcome them. The brain can be worked out like a muscle. The more you use it the better it gets ; and stronger.

Today I am going to start on arthropods

An arthropod is an invertebrate animal having an exoskeleton, a segmented body, and jointed appendages. Arthropods form the phylum Arthropoda, and include the insects, arachnids, myriapods, and crustaceans. They mainly are bugs spiders. They are usually ugly and creeps. Every day you see arthropods. Most of the time you kill them. Or you eat them.(crabs)

During spring brake

During spring brake I will probably go fishing. I hope we catch some kind of crustacean. We will see lots of  barnacles, those are crustaceans. Or some crabs. We will use shrimp we  catch with a net for bait. Also we can catch some fish. That would be cool.

King crabs

King crabs are really big and tasty.  They are really spiky and hard to break open. They taste best with butter. I have cut myself before trying to eat them. It is fun to watch them walk around.They have a lot of meat in them too. But it tastes more fishy than most.

Barnacles (Crustaceans)

Barnacles are really ugly. On whales they grow on them like pimples. They live in permanent shells that open when feeding and close for holding water. They can also be parasites that harm. They are really nasty and crusty. I would hate to have a barnacle on me. But I do like how they eat.

Dino-Crab - Megaxantho

Recently, paleontologists discovered the fossil of an especially giant-clawed crab of the aptly named Megaxantho family, which lived during the late Cretaceous period alongside the last of the dinosaurs. What's interesting about this crab,besides its enormous size, is the prominent tooth-shaped structure on its giant claw, which it used to pry prehistoric snails out of their shells. Also, this species of Megaxantho lived 20 million years earlier than paleontologists had previously thought, which may prompt some rewriting of the "crustaceans" section of biology textbooks. I think this crab is really cool. It is huge and had a giant body. The crab probably ate a lot. Mainly snails.

Ghost Shrimp

Today I am writing about ghost shrimp. I have four of them in my fish tank. They clean really well. Its kind if nasty though because they eat the poo like spaghetti. But it makes the tank look good. They also are see-through so you can see their organs. I like watching them swim around. I think one of mine is pregnant too.

Mantis shrimp

Last night I was watching a documentary about mantis shrimp. They are really cool and look like they are a mix of  Preying mantis and Lobster looking thing there is also a special species that has arms that can punch and crush crab and snail shells. They are also very territorial and live in burrows under the water. They will fight others of their species and kill the. They also have sex just like humans. Its really nasty and I cant believe that they showed that on TV. Finally they have spikes in their arms so that if they wanted to stab you while punching you they can.

Sea Spiders

Sea spiders are really ugly. They are also a part of the crustacean family. They have long legs and look like anorexic crabs. They grow huge and get legs that are like daddy long legs. I like how they eat too, though it is kinda scary. I hope I never see one in person I would freak. But I probably will never go scuba diving.

Hermit Crabs

I really like hermit crabs. I used to have some but they died a long time ago. They were really cute but I had to get it new shells. I've seen a shell that is clear and it looks nasty. I used to put them on my hand and they would crawl. They have really cute eyes too. With small shells. They can live up to 15 years.

shrimp

Today I am writing about shrimp. They are good bait for fishing and are pretty cheap. They also taste really good with melted butter. They have an exoskeleton and tiny little legs. They are really cute and are good in fish tanks for cleaning it. I am going to put some in our tank at home. I hope they don't die quick and get along with other fish.

I am writing about lobsters today. Lobsters are really cool. They are like the rodents of the sea. The have two large pincers and a tail unlike a crab. They also look cooler. A long time ago they thought it was inhumane to feed lobster to criminals in prison even though now we pay lots of money for it. But fish was okay.

Crabs are really funny to watch. I really like how they walk and run. They also know how to attack people and look really funny doing it. When that swim they look really graceful.  They have so many different kinds of crab. There are blue ones green ones orange ones and many more. I wish I had a crab that didn't pinch me and only others I don't like.

I am hoping that today goes by fast. I know it is a half day but even better. When I go Home I probably wont do much. I just want to leave already but I cant. I also have to go with my dad after school. That will be really boring. But I don't have anyone else who can pick me up.

I am writing about how nothing works in my game when I try to add code. It never works with the rest of my code and it really sucks. It is too hard to do and I kind of don't want to. Then when I add it it gets really glitchy and starts flashing. I try for days to fix it and it still doesn't help. If I could get it to work I would be happy. I hope it starts to work soon.

Over the weekend.

Over the weekend I went to Carancahua bay. I went fishing out there and caught two crabs. We let them go on the peer and they went into this death stance and tried to kill us all. we eventually pushed him over. We never caught anything.

Over the weekend I went to the mall. It was pretty boring because all I did was follow my sister around while she shopped. We had chicken there then went how. We waited hours but the truck came with our new couches. we set those up and watched tv on them.

I am writing about the wedding we will be having in 5th period. I will be Romeo and Julissa will be Juliet. We are going to hug, twice and then dance.I think it will be lots of fun. But I need to change before I get to 5th.

Over the weekend I ate lots of food. We stayed home because it was really cold. I had hoped that it would snow but it never did. It was just this miserable cold rain. I didn't go anywhere because my mom was scared of the ice.(even though there was none).

Today I hope that it snows and we have to leave early. I like the snow and like going outside in it. It  will also be the first time my nephew will see snow. I hope he likes it as much as I do. I will also stay inside and watch movies all day. Finally I will drink lots of hot chocolate.

Thursday

Today I am writing about Mr. Streckfus. I really like his class because it is fun and challenging. I would like a little more help in the flash game we are making but he can not help me. I hope to finish this game and it be fun and educational but that is hard to do with Mr. Streckfus not knowing much about flash 3.0 and he says, " I just designed the pictures". I want to have a good game but that is not going to happen. I have asked the help desk for help three times but I still have not gotten the game to work. All  it does is flash through all the scenes and it started doing that when I added the jumping code. I want the game to have a few questions before the action-y part but I guess not. In 2.0 the code was a lot easier to use and less complicated because Ms. Valdez taught me how to use it. But now that is out dated and we must use 3.0.  All I want to do is win one year, just one, but now that does not seem possible. I hope I get it working before times up but for now I have just given up on my game.
          It seems that I will never get it now because two of my team members have left this class and it is just me and one other. The first team mate left like a month ago. Lizeth left this school and went off to a new one. That made it it harder for the three of us. Then Kenzie left this class because she thought that Globaloria was stupid and went to art class and left the rest of the game to the two of us. Just now Mr. Streckfus told me he can help me with a mouse problem. It wont let me click in between a word and just highlights a letter out of it and now I cant add anything to the middle. I want to keep trying but I can't. So I am just gonna quit on the game for now until I get some help.

Whatever (Rocket launch)

In the article, a launch was postponed for messed up propulsion things. Engineers called it off when they noticed it. I learned that it is very important to have working parts on it for it to work. If not that would have been embarrassing to nasa. I hope they eventually launch it.
