plan game scene

  • WHO are you designing your game for? (Include the player's age, abilities, and prior knowledge of your topic.) How will you make sure your game is not hurtful to any group of people?
The game will be more for high school and over because you need good reading comprehension.
  • WHAT will your game teach the player about your topic? (Be specific!)
    • If you are making a social issue game, how will you show multiple perspectives?
Our game will teach how to get to college and stay in.
  • WHERE does your game happen?
    • Describe the world you will design for your game.
    • How will this setting add to the learning experience?
Our game will happen at a kids home and at college.
  • HOW does your game world teach the player about your topic?
    • What happens in the world that helps the player learn?
    • How does the player use what they learned to make something happen in the game?
Our game will teach the world how to go to college. It will also tell you what to do when you get there.
  • WHY is a game a better way of understanding your topic than a quiz?
because it makes the game more interactive and fun.
