Herbie Hancock is an American keyboard player, songwriter, and bandleader. He became widely popular due to unusual electric jazz rock playing. His work is great for its blen of funky rhythms and ethereal harmonies. His work with Miles Davis' quintet in the 1960s led him to try out dareing and arrythmic concepts. His hit song "Watermelon Man," has been covered by dozens of musicians.
